I feel we should remove all US troops from Iraqi immediately, irrespective of the consequences. I feel we should do this because the Bush administration has had enough time, money, and blood to achieve its goals and has not yet met them and shows no indication of doing so in the near or distant future. I feel that the terrorists will not follow us back to the US as Bush is fond of saying; this is empty, scare-mongering rhetoric that has yet to have hard evidence put behind it. Clearly the evidence to go to war was not accurate and we need to send a message to government that this is unacceptable now and in the future, and that is bears consequences. I.e., if you lie to the US people about the reasons to go to war, we will not support the war and we will call for its immediate end. The findings that billions of dollars have been either wasted or simply unaccounted for is another reason to end this war and send a message to the White House that the US people will not stand for this. The US government cannot expect an unlimited supply of blood and money from its people. It cannot waste these commodities. Our blood and money are to be used properly and respectfully. Once it is shown that this is not being done, then we morally have to demand that the supply of these commodities is cut off if we are to maintain our strength as a nation. Those that say that a withdraw of US troops from Iraq will do more harm than good to the US have yet to make a strong case as to why. Until then, we should get out of the Iraq even if it means going back in later. The point is that we as a populace need to show our government that certain standards and practices need to be upheld when conducting a war, and if the government falls short in delivering them, then we the people should stop supplying our blood and money, end of story.
